Trade sync is a one-way, automated reporting pipeline: your MetaTrader terminal remains the source of truth, and the Solven4 EA relays each trade's data to your dashboard as it happens.
Once the Solven4 EA is attached to a chart and enabled, it monitors your account's trade activity directly inside MetaTrader. When a position opens, modifies, or closes, the EA packages the relevant trade data and sends it to your Solven4 account using your personal API token for authentication.
Because the EA only reports data outward and cannot accept instructions to place or modify trades, there's no path for anything outside your terminal to affect your account. Sync is purely observational from Solven4's side — your terminal, your broker, and you remain the only parties with any control over the account itself.
Sync depends on your MetaTrader terminal staying open and connected with the EA active on a chart. If your dashboard looks out of date, the most common cause is simply that the terminal was closed or the EA was removed from the chart — reopening the terminal and re-enabling the EA restores the sync automatically.
