Solven4 connects to your MT4 or MT5 account through a small Expert Advisor (EA) you install directly inside your own MetaTrader terminal — your broker login and password are never entered into Solven4, and never leave your terminal.
Some platforms ask traders to hand over an 'investor' or read-only password so they can log into the account remotely. Solven4 deliberately does not work this way. Storing any version of your broker credentials outside your own terminal is an unnecessary security risk, so Solven4 never asks for one and never stores one.
Instead, connection happens the other way around: a lightweight EA runs inside your own MetaTrader terminal and pushes your trade data out to Solven4 using a personal API token — your terminal stays in control at all times.
Step 1 — Download the Solven4 EA from your account dashboard once you're logged in. Step 2 — Install it inside your MetaTrader terminal by placing the EA file in your platform's Experts folder (MQL5/Experts for MT5, MQL4/Experts for MT4) and attaching it to a chart as you would any other Expert Advisor.
Step 3 — Open the EA's settings inside MetaTrader and paste in the personal API token generated from your Solven4 account. Once attached and enabled, the EA begins syncing your trade activity to your Solven4 dashboard automatically.
The EA sends trade-level data — entries, exits, position size, timing — to power your Trading DNA profile, audit trail, and leaderboard eligibility. It does not transmit your account password, and it cannot place trades on your behalf; it is a one-way reporting bridge, not a remote-control connection.
If you ever want to stop syncing, simply remove the EA from the chart inside MetaTrader — there's nothing to revoke on the broker side because no credentials were ever shared with it in the first place.
