How to Start Journaling?

A journal turns raw synced trade data into a narrative you can actually learn from — the data tells you what happened, the journal tells you why.

Getting started

Inside your EDGE dashboard, open the journal view alongside any trade and add a short note: what the setup was, how you felt going in, and whether you followed your own rules. It doesn't need to be long — consistency matters more than depth.

Building the habit

The traders who benefit most from journaling do it right after closing a trade, or at worst, at the end of each session — not retroactively at the end of the month, when the details and honest self-assessment have already faded.

See 'From Data to Discipline' for how to turn a few weeks of journal entries into an actual improvement loop.
